GrantPacketCheck is a product built by Sparks Simple, a brand of Sparks Motion LLC. This policy explains what information we collect when you use GrantPacketCheck and how we use it.

• Account information: name, email address, and organization name if you create an account.
• Grant packet information: the grant guidelines text you paste or upload, along with any grant name, funder name, deadline, or organization type you enter.
• Usage information: basic analytics about which pages and features you use, so we can improve the product.
• Support information: anything you send us through the contact form, including your email and message.

We collect the grant guidelines text you paste or upload for one reason: to extract a checklist of requirements, deadlines, and attachments for that specific packet. We don't use your grant text for marketing, and we don't share it with other users.

When you submit grant guidelines, the text is sent to our AI extraction service to generate your checklist, then the extracted checklist is saved to your account (or shown to you directly if you used the free tool without an account). We do not manually read your submissions except to investigate a support request you send us.

If you create an account and save a grant packet, the guidelines text and extracted checklist are stored so you can return to them later. If you use the free checklist generator without an account, your result is shown to you in your browser session and is not saved to a permanent account record.

You can delete a saved grant packet at any time from your dashboard. If you'd like your entire account and associated data deleted, use the data deletion request option on the contact page, or the delete option in your account settings. We process deletion requests promptly.

We do not sell your personal information or your grant guidelines text to anyone, ever.

GrantPacketCheck sends the grant guidelines text you submit to a third-party AI provider to generate your checklist. We configure that provider not to use your submissions to train their models where that setting is available to us.

Developer note: confirm the exact data-retention and model-training terms of the active AI provider and update this section to reflect their current published policy before launch.
